the person

Mus’ab, behind zetfri.

I build because making something real is one of the clearest ways I know to understand an idea. But I am not only the things I ship. I am also the questions, people, unfinished attempts and quiet changes around them.

Mus’ab Kamaldinov

what zetfri means

A name with room inside it.

zetfri began as a name for work. It is becoming something wider: a personal identity, an archive, a space for thought and a record of what changes. I am still growing into it.

my story

Not a straight line

  1. earlier1

    Discovering digital creation

Learning that an idea could become something another person could use.

  2. then2

    Building under zetfri

Giving the work a name, before fully knowing what that name would hold.

  3. first3

    Founding GatherUP

Starting a platform shaped around volunteers and the communities they support.

  4. after4

    Beginning to volunteer

Stepping into the world the platform was trying to serve.

  5. 20265

    Taking GatherUP into rooms

Pitching, receiving early recognition, attending Founders Camp and continuing to learn in public.

  6. now6

    Making zetfri more honest

Moving beyond a professional portfolio into a fuller record of work, thought and becoming.

the order matters

GatherUP came first. Volunteering came after. Building a platform for volunteers pushed me to step into the world I was trying to serve.

contradictions

Still resolving

01I like building systems, but I care more about what they do to people.

02I chase ambitious ideas, but I am still learning patience.

03I want independence, not isolation.

04I care about finished work, but much of my life is still unfinished.

This page will probably be wrong in a year. That means something moved.
